春意渐浓，万象更新。在这充满希望的季节里，雅力教育集团旗下的上海阿德科特学校迎来了一项重要的里程碑——2月27日至28日，国际文凭组织(IBO)顾问、宁波华茂国际学校总校长叶斌女士受邀到访，为上海阿德科特IB大学预科文凭项目(IBDP)的授权工作提供专业指导。此次访问标志着学校国际化教育进程迈入全新阶段，也为即将开启的IBDP课程注入更多信心与动力。

On Thursday 27th and Friday 28th of February, Adcote School Shanghai, which is under the Ray Education Group, was delighted to welcome Maggie Ye to our school campus. Maggie, who is Principal Ningbo Huamao International School, came to visit school in her role as our IBO Consultant. As an IB candidate school, Adcote School SH was currently in the process of being authorized by the IBO to run their prestigious Diploma Programme (IBDP). Maggie's visit was the penultimate stage in this process and the next milestone school has reached on the journey to becoming an IB school.

在为期两天的访问中，国际文凭组织(IBO)顾问、宁波华茂国际学校总校长叶斌女士与学校管理团队、IB教师、意向学生及家长代表进行了深入交流，并实地考察了校园环境。她对学校社区展现出的凝聚力、学生蓬勃的探索精神以及教师团队的专业素养给予了高度评价：“这里不仅有学术深耕的土壤，更具备培养全人发展的教育视野。”

Over her two days with Adcote School SH, Maggie was able to meet school leadership team, IB teachers and potential IB students and their families as well as making time to explore the beautiful surroundings. She was incredibly complimentary about school community, the students’inquisitive nature and the dedication and knowledge of teachers.

作为一所IB候选学校，上海阿德科特正处于IBDP项目授权的关键阶段。叶女士的到访是授权流程中至关重要的“顾问访问”环节。她结合IB教育理念与学校实际，从课程架构、教学实施到学生支持体系提出了专业建议，并充分肯定上海阿德科特已具备成熟的授权条件。根据规划，学校将于2025年8月正式启动IBDP课程，为学子提供更具竞争力的全球升学路径。

Maggie's visit was a phenomenal success and she has left us incredibly confident that we are in a place to meet the requirements of the IB and will be authorized to run the IBDP from August 2025, next academic year.

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a comprehensive and academically challenging pre-university educational programme for students typically aged 16 to 19. It is a very holistic course which intertwines academic rigour and social development.

Extended Essay (EE): An independent, self-directed piece of research, finishing with a 4,000-word paper.
